Rebeckah Hassam
What began as a way to stay grounded, became a life long passion. Rebeckah grew up as a modern day, “Cinderella.” But her story didn’t stop there.
With perseverance and faith, she chose to change the narrative. She began writing as a child, turning her emotions into poetry. Rebeckah found a way to write her way through trauma. She had a dream in 1991, of seeing her poetry published. And in 2015, she saw her first book of poems publish.
She is now the author of six published works. She currently has at least another four books in the works.
Rebeckah fought her way through the school system, with having undiagnosed dysgraphia and ADHD. She managed to graduate high school in the honour program, and successfully graduated college.
Because of this fight, she has a passion to see others reach for the impossible. Along with being a published author, she manages a busy equestrian centre in Surrey BC. (A&T equestrian)
In 1998 she got her own happily ever after, when she met her husband, Ian. Rebeckah's life is full, with her breed of animals. These include, her horses, Mia, and Brodie, her rescue dog, Nacho, and cat, Pickles. It is no wonder she gets inspired daily.
